Terms of use

OpenPet (openpet.fit). Last updated 11 October 2026.

By using OpenPet you agree to these terms. In these terms "we" and "us" means OpenPet.

What OpenPet is

OpenPet is a free web app that shows you what your own data, connected through your Vana account, says about you. It is for people aged 18 or over.

Not medical advice

OpenPet shows you patterns in your own data. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical, health or wellbeing advice. Talk to a health professional about any health question.

Your data

Your data stays yours. You choose what to connect, and you can disconnect a source or delete everything at any time. Our privacy policy at openpet.fit/privacy explains what we hold and why. Your Vana account, and anything stored in it, is governed by Vana's own terms.

Using OpenPet fairly

Use OpenPet only for your own data and only lawfully. Do not try to break, overload or get around its security, or access anyone else's information.

The service

OpenPet is free and provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or stop it. Where the law gives you rights that cannot be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law, nothing in these terms takes them away. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss from using OpenPet.

Ending

You can stop using OpenPet at any time and delete your information with Delete everything. We may suspend access for anyone who misuses the service.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
